The data collected by Algorithmedia in the context of the domain name registration request are only those strictly necessary to provide the service. The provision of such data is in itself optional, however in the absence of such provision Algorithmedia will not be able to provide the requested service.

It should be noted that the Personal Data of the domain name holder, for purposes strictly related to the provision of the service, may be communicated to third parties. In particular, in order to manage domain names, the Italian domain name registry (see www.nic.it), requires Algorithmedia, as registrar, to provide the data necessary to complete the registration. Algorithmedia uses the company DomainAuction Srl for this service. This sharing of data is necessary for your use of the service, therefore, according to the current privacy legislation, it is justified.

It follows that you, when subscribing to the service, accept that some of your Personal Data may be communicated to the subjects listed above. If, however, when requesting the registration of domain names, you provide Algorithmedia with Personal Data of other third parties interested in the processing, you act as an independent data controller, assuming all legal obligations and responsibilities. In this sense, you grant the broadest indemnity with respect to any dispute, claim, request for compensation for damages from processing, etc. that may be received by Algorithmedia from third parties whose Personal Data have been processed through your use of the Services in violation of the applicable Personal Data protection regulations. Furthermore, for the improvement of the service, the data will normally be published, and therefore disseminated, on the public database.
